Jammu and Kashmir Amateur Boxing Association today organised district boxing championships at Poonch and Srinagar in involving boxers of different weight and age groups in male and female categories.

At Poonch, the competition held at Boxing Ring of Sports Stadium under the technical guidance of Boxing coach, Mushtaq Ahmed.  Similarly, at Srinagar the event took place in support qualified officials Khalida Bano, AdilKhan and Farooq Ahmad Khan at Boxing Ring of Sher-e-Kashmir Indoor Stadium.

Both the events held under the aegis of J&K Olympic Association (JKOA) and J&K Sports Council.

Those winners of the day-long district championships awarded with medals and certificates by the dignitaries invited to felicitate the winners.
