District Development Commissioner Reasi, Nidhi Malik, today flagged off students (boys and girls) of the district for a five-day residential trekking expedition to Patnitop. The expedition was organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS).

Interacting with the participants, the DC Reasi lauded the efforts of the DYSS in promoting adventure-based and character-building activities among the youth. She urged the trekkers to maintain discipline, teamwork and a deep respect for nature throughout the duration of the camp.

On the occasion, Tarsem Singh, District (DYSS) Officer, Reasi, briefed the Deputy Commissioner about the camp and informed that boys and girls from all zones of District Reasi are participating in the programme. Officials accompanying the group included Balwan Singh, Kuldeep Raj, Mohd Raiz, Arun Dev Singh, Jagdev Singh, Rakesh Kumar,Ankush Sharma, Neha Sharma, Madhu Rani and Rajan Kumar.
